For those of you who dont want the the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics to end, Nike has made a special edition set of Nike Air force 1 “closing ceremonies.”  The upper is gold with laser printed designs, a black sole with black laces, and comes with a special edition black box with 08-08-08 on the front.  The sneakers will be released Aug 25th at select Nike retail shops.

In honor of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Opening Ceremony NY and LA will be releasing the Nike Air Max 1 metallics and the Nike Lunaracer on the 8th of August exclusively at these specific boutiques.  The release will be available by invitation only and they are limited to one pair per client.  The rest of the pairs will be released at a later date.  Along with the sneakers, Opening Ceremony will be selling many Olympic themed products such as shirts, sweaters, and hoodies from the apparel line by Nike Sportswear.

On August 8th, same day as the Olympics opening, Nike will be releasing three more related Team USA sneaker products.  The Delta Force Low, Rejuven8, and Blazer High wil all have colorways of the red, white and blue.  Source Via Hypebeast  (more…)
