  • New Balance 575 x Jeff Staple “Pigeons”
By admin on August 1, 2008 | No Comments Comments

SneakerFreaker crew recently interviewed Jeff Statple, the man behind the infamous Pigeon Dunks which caused chaos in the streets of NYC during the release, and discussed his latest project.  Jeff created the Pigeon inspired New Balance 575 using the same colors on the NIke Dunk editions and the same Pigeon logo.  The only difference in logos is on the back heel of the left sneaker which contains a flying Pigeon.  Jeff made it clear in the Snkr Frkr interview that he didnt create the sneaker as a slap in the face to Nike, but as a compliment to the already historic shoe.  Singapore has already announced an August 6th release at Leftfoot Singapore and Le Vault.  The full interview will be on the 13th issue of SneakerFreaker magazine which comes out Aug 15.
